DESCRIPTION: Project design and documentation for the New Construction and Tenant Improvement of various branches and corporate centers in Washington DC, NYC and surrounding communities. The photos to the left represent the retail bank and regional building located in E. Rutherford, NJ. Provided the high profile location, the building design and interiors represent the brand’s flagship in high-quality design and construction. Stone floor tiles, black granite counters, red maple millwork and polished stainless steel accents dominate this high-end retail environment.

The ground floor program is that of a typical branch with increased areas for customer service and staff, so to handle the larger volume of customers expected from the catchment area. Generous storefront glazing promotes transparency to the retail area’s fun interior which is showcased by a bold color pallet and strategically-placed accent lighting. The teller area divides the public space from the staff area setting up an opportunity for a secondary (internal) facade on which to work in sculptural soffits and a mural wall which backdrops the customer service area. The mural image depicted is typically a historic photo representing the areas unique history.

The upper level is a Mezzanine which houses a regional corporate center for a staff of up to (10) persons. This is placed securely behind the secondary facade providing a more private office environment. The corporate office is to be used for administration functions, internal conferences, financial advisement and lending.
