On the Boards: Currently being developed is the design for a 450 acre Military History Park outside Moscow, Russia.  The designs illustrated are by Sakoian International, LLC and in cooperation with H2L2 Russia.  Building types include a visitors center, conference center, restaurant, museum, display pavilion, church & administration center.  Additional buildings are centered around recreational activities and include an equestrian center, amphitheater and sports facility that will offer year-round activities such as tennis and cross country skiing.  Nestled into the rear of the site will be high end rental cabins and private residences.

All the park buildings are designed in the timber-frame style with cultured stone treatments to the first level walls, structural piers and water tables.  The usage of the park is for recreation; however the theme is dedicated to the preservation and education of Russia’s military history, primarily achieved through the display of an impressive collection of military artifacts and machinery.
